Before you book
Who can rent a car?
Anyone with a valid driver’s licence who meets the age and experience rules in the terms of rental. We check your licence when you collect the car.
What is the deposit?
A refundable amount held while you have the car. It is returned after the car is back undamaged, less anything you owe.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel free of charge and get a full refund of the rental price up to 12 hours before pick-up; 95% back from 6 to 12 hours before; 90% back if it is less than 6 hours. The deposit is always returned in full. If you finish early, return the car ahead of time and we refund the unused time, to the second.
How does buying a car work?
You reserve a car with a deposit, pay the balance into escrow, and the seller is paid only after the car and its papers are handed over to you.
